Still playing catch up and blogging sessions from last spring/summer.  Seems odd, especially since we have our first “cool” snap of the year going on    But, I have the best clients and I love to show them off, even if it’s a little delayed!

Little baby *c* is growing up!  It seems like yesterday that he was at the studio as newborn, now he is 6 months old, and sitting up all on his own

Beautiful baby boy *b*, recently came to see me at the studio.  At almost a month old, he has the most beautiful skin, and the most kissable little lips EVER.  He is just downright yummy.  I look forward to watching him grow up…

Tyler and Longview Newborn Photography

So, remember when I blogged this session, and I mentioned that there was an equally adorable part 2?  Well, I would be totally remiss if I didn’t follow up (as promised), so here it is!

A quick aside, the “sitting not crawling” stage is one of my absolute favorites to photograph.  This stage is usually around the 6-8 month mark.  At this age they are full of wonder, discoveries about themselves, and lots of expressions.  Even better, you can “put” them somewhere and they can’t crawl or walk away!    Lucky for me, baby *g* was at this stage and we had lots of fun.

Cute expressions?  Check, check!

Discovering things about themselves?  Why, yes, I have a tongue.  And even better, I can stick it out! 

Another thing about this age… they start to figure out when they have had enough.  Hat?  No thanks, moving on!

Next time baby *g* comes to see me, I imagine he’ll be walking and my job will be a little bit harder.  That’s okay though, I am never one to shy away from a challenge!

I had a great time doing my Favorite Portrait of 2010 contest, thanks to all who played along!  Your votes coming in were fun to see and the response was overwhelming    Many thanks to my husband, Wes, for helping me count all those votes!  I will definitely do the contest again next year, it just may become an annual tradition.

Two months old can be a tough age to photograph, but this baby boy and his Mommy were so sweet, the session just breezed by!  I really enjoyed getting know them both and I’m looking forward to meeting the big brothers in December

It’s the busy season and it has caused me to be a little absent from blogging (mea culpa!).  I have had so many wonderful sessions over the last couple of weeks, I’ll try my best to get caught up in the next couple of days.  I have a few days “off”  before another very busy week and weekend of shooting, and I promise to use the time paying attention to my neglected blog 

As a reminder, weekends are now fully booked through the first weekend in December.  I have a few sessions in November available on weekday evenings (M-F) and I have several sessions left on MWF mornings at the studio.  If you are wanting to schedule a session, call or drop me an email, I don’t want anyone left out!

Okay, getting back on track — take a look at this most-fun-ever session I shot a couple of weeks ago with the adorable baby boy *k* and his two big brothers.  Check out *k*, rocking the bright blanket and his gorgeous blue eyes:
