Baby *b* came in recently for her 9 month session, and as always, it’s hard to believe time has gone by so quickly!  At our session, she was full of smiles, offering lots of words/sounds and she was very mobile in her crawling.  In fact, she gave me (and her Mom!) quite the little workout!

Baby *b* always gives great expressions, this one was no exception:

It was a little chilly, but we ventured outside for a bit — I love how the evening light shows off her pretty blue eyes:

East Texas Baby Photography

I’ve had a little bit of a baby boom at the studio here of late (love it!).  And this post is about yet another beautiful baby — this time, baby boy “c”.  Baby “c” is two months old, which can be a harder age to photograph, but I really love what we ended up with.  I even managed to get some sleeping shots (which can be really tough to get at that age!).

This is a new favorite shot for me.  I love the hat, the color, the smile… isn’t he a muffin?!

And doesn’t he look so peaceful here?

I have photographed baby *C* since he was a newborn, and I have loved watching him grow over the last year.  It’s always amazing how fast they grow, and how quickly they change.  In fact, this time last year, he was a snuggly newborn I rocked to sleep for his newborn session.  Fast forward just one year,  and I had a hard time getting him to stay still for two seconds!  It won’t be long before he’s walking on his own, and then, well, I imagine I’ll be chasing him!  Anyway, I just love his Mom too, so I always enjoy our sessions.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Mom has been getting a black and white head shot from of all his milestone sessions (newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, one year).  Really, it’s such a good idea and I bet it makes an awesome wall display, seeing his growth documented that way.  Next time I’m over that way, I may have to invite myself over to see it    Anyway, here’s one of our possible head shot images, I just loved his expression here:

Had the pleasure of photographing six week old Luca at the studio a few days ago.  He came with his own adoring paparazzi that included Mom, Dad, and his sweet grandmother who has been in the States for a visit since his birth.  The paparazzi even brought a video camera to capture his first official “shoot”.  Six weeks old and he’s already working the rock star status!  Way to go, Luca!

Check out his big, brown eyes and of course, even a yawn gets a reaction (can you blame them, how cute is his yawn?!)

I think if Dad could sop Luca up with a biscuit, he probably would.  He’s a teeny-tiny bit crazy about his baby boy… don’t you think?

And finally, a few shots with Mom… I think she’s a little enamored with Luca too.  The shot on the left… um, hello, how fair is it to look that stunning SIX WEEKS after giving birth?  Not that I’m jealous at all.  Nope, not me.  So incredibly *not* jealous!  Really!
