My name is Tammy and I'm a Tyler, Texas based photographer, busy Mom of two boys, and wife to a great (and handsome!) guy. Life is busy, fast paced and chaotic, and I love every minute of it!
On the professional front, I mostly photograph babies, children, and families. I shoot on location using natural light or at my studio space in downtown Tyler. The studio offers natural light shooting as well as the option of studio lighting. I strive to produce timeless images with a modern edge, classic yet unexpected.
I absolutely love what I do and pride myself on being able to 100% relate to my clients. More than anything, I'm a Mom. I know what it feels like to be 8 months pregnant, or hold your newborn baby in all their snuggly newness. I know how funny (and not funny!) a two year old can be, or how at times, you can be with your family and realize there is no other place on earth you'd rather be. These are the moments I know are fleeting, sometimes funny, and above all, precious.

I’ve had several maternity sessions here lately and the big question is always, “what should I wear?”. It can be difficult because you want something that is stylish and chic, yet comfortable, as well as finding something that accentuates your tummy. And with the limited places to shop for maternity clothes, that can be no small feat to find the pieces to that puzzle! This What to Wear guide is good for a mom-to-be alone, all the way up to a family maternity session. Check it:
I always suggest bringing several items of clothing, and something like the above outfit, plus a plain black tank (can be worn with same jeans for look #2), works fab — it’s as simple as that!

Spring has sprung and I have been busy! So many beautiful sessions to blog, but I will start with this one
I am so lucky to have the most fabulous clients, who not only have beautiful children, but provide me with the most amazing places to shoot! Case in point, this beautiful field of yellow “flowers”. I say “flowers” loosely since I suppose that they are technically weeds, but I just have a hard time calling anything so bright and colorful a negative word, like “weed”. It just doesn’t seem right. And since it’s my blog, I’ll call them flowers, um-kay? 
Thanks to the beautiful *a* children and their lovely Mommy, who were in from the Dallas area visiting family. Lovely children, lovely location… doesn’t get much better than that!

Meet beautiful baby girl *a*, you may remember her adorable parents from this maternity session…
Well, baby *a* finally made her arrival and she was such a good girl during our session. Once she was asleep, she was out and I was able to move her around with total ease…
Look at all of her beautiful dark hair (this enviously coming from the mother of a child who was bald until he was almost two!)
