Last week, Vanessa and Brent McKellar of Vanessa McKellar Productions came by the studio for a quick little session. You must know going in, Vanessa and Brent make up a most fabulous team as husband and wife and as AMAZING wedding videographers. Seriously, if you know someone who is planning a wedding, I urge you to refer them to the above link and check out their work. They have a way of capturing a wedding day with amazing cinematic styling — artistic, romantic, loaded with details, and chock full of emotion.
Since Brent and Vanessa are being featured in a magazine about their recent work with the Super 8 camera/film, they needed some fun shots of them with their equipment. If you aren’t familiar with what Super 8 is, think about that intro to “The Wonder Years” where Kevin is waving at the camera, laughing… remember that? That was Super 8 film and it’s making a resurgence in the film making industry. It’s warm, it’s vintage, it’s cool. Just what we wanted to portray in the images.
