I know I have mentioned many times how much I love maternity sessions. But what I love even more, is seeing the end result (the new baby of course!) at the newborn/baby session. I absolutely love seeing who the baby looks like, hearing the hospital story, getting the details, and seeing the parents interact with their new little person.
This particular couple was so fun to watch with their sweet baby boy *R*. I can truly say they seem to have blossomed with his arrival. Back at the end of December, when the *E* and *S* came for their maternity session, they were such a sweet couple, though quiet – almost a little shy. Since they had never met me before, this wasn’t a total surprise (especially from the dad-to-be!). But, when they came in for the newborn session, they were both so… well, joyful! There were lots of laughs, they were full of smiles and you could tell how much love they had for baby *R*. The session was a blast, I tried some new things and really like the results… have a peek for yourself!

Since baby *R* is about a month old, I wasn’t sure we’d be able to get this one, but I’m so glad we did:
